The wreckage of a missing Russian plane has been found. Russian officials say it has been confirmed that the plane crashed near the Sea and Valley of Okhotsk.

However, officials said no one on board was likely to survive. Delays in getting there due to bad weather. Helicopters are being used to reach the crash site.

Earlier, a plane carrying 29 passengers went missing in Russia's Far East. The plane was flying from Pedrapavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the main city on the Kamchatka Peninsula, to Palana on the peninsula. On the way it is missing. The plane did not land on time.

A local aviation company was operating the aircraft. Russian news agencies say there were children among the passengers on board.

According to Russian RT media, the aircraft is of Antonov AN-27 model. The plane lost contact with the air traffic controller while flying over the Kamchatka Valley.

Valentina Glazova, a spokeswoman for the local Transport Prosecutor's Office, said the passenger N-27 had gone missing on the Kamchatka Peninsula. A total of 29 people were on board the plane. 23 of them are passengers. And 6 crew.

According to the Kamchatka Prosecutor's Office, the accident could have been caused by bad weather, a malfunction of the instrument or a pilot's mistake.
